South Bay Power Hour: Getting the South Bay Back on Track

South Bay Power Hour: Getting the South Bay Back on Track

Wednesday, June 9, 2021 (10:00 AM - 11:00 AM) (PDT)

Description

South Bay is eagerly ready to welcome back tenants and visitors to buildings safely and jump start community activity.  The BOMA/GLA South Bay Regional Council is excited to host a Power Hour with special guests from El Segundo City Government and LA County Public Health.

With South Bay as one of the most pro-business regions in LA County, we are looking forward to learning how local leaders lure tenants back to the office and its mid to long-range plans to jump-start the economy.

We will also learn about any major challenges they foresee on the horizon.

In addition, we are eager to receive an update on lingering COVID protocols and how it might impact South Bay building operations.

Please join us as we drive on the road to recovery after the pandemic – with the State’s June 15 reopening date just a few days after this program!

What you will learn:

  • Local plans to lure tenants back to office space.
  • Medium to long-term plans and prognoses for economic recovery and development in the South Bay post-COVID.
  • Any lingering health and safety protocols/concerns that building owners and managers should be aware of.

Speakers:

Tyla Jones, Health Educator, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health
